The Historical and Ethnological Museum has been located in the St.Gallen City Park for almost 100 years. It is an important bearer of the historical memory of the city, and to some extent also of the canton. As a platform for cultural and art history, ethnology and contemporary history, it radiates far beyond St.Gallen. The museum attaches great importance to a rich offer for families and children. The children's museum in the attic is one of the most popular departments.
